Spa Grande, the Largest Spa in Hawaii
At 50,000 square feet, Spa Grande at Grand Wailea Resort is the largest spa in Hawaii. If you you still need an excuse to visit Maui, this is it.
Spa Grande has 40 treatment rooms and the unique Termé Wailea Hydrotherapy which includes a Roman Tub, saunas, cascading waterfalls, Swiss Jet Showers, a Japanese Furo, and five specialty baths.
You are expected to arrive early for your treatment and enjoy the above complimentary amenities. In fact, you may need to visit more than once to sample all five of the specialty baths: mud, limu (seaweed), aromatherapy, papaya enzyme, and Hawaiian mineral salt.
Both the spa and the fitness center were renovated in January 2009. The fitness center was equipped with the latest high-tech workout machines.
Massages start at $105 for 50 minutes. Rooms at the resort start at $399/night.
